Where necessary, Tripp Plastics products will comply with the European Union's (EU) Directive 2002/95/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
The RoHS Directive became valid on July 01, 2006 in the member states of the European Union. Its aim is to reduce a total of six substances from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), thereby contributing to the protection of human health and the environment. Although RoHS is a European Union Directive, manufacturers of EEE outside Europe must also abide by this legislation if the equipment they produce is ultimately imported into a EU member state.
