Surfboard resin is a water-clear, impact resistant and UV stabilized polyester resin. When flexed, it resists cracking and crazing; it also resists damage from impact. Good wet-out with fiberglass cloth, mat or roving. No sanding is required between coats - it contains no surfacing wax. Add Surface Curing agent to make a sanding coat. Thin with Styrene Monomer to make a flood coat. It has a fast cure cycle and it takes pigments and dyes very well. A gallon of resin requires 2 oz of catalyst, a quart requires 1/2 oz, which are sold separately.

Ultra-Glo is and easy-to-use pour-on finish for table tops, plaques, clocks and figurines. Just one coat is usually required for a deep, glass-like finish. It is waterproof, heat and alcohol-resistant. To give carbon fiber sheet a maximum 3-D effect, coat it with Ultra-Glo.
